Privacy Policy
Effective 25 October 2026 · TourMyDay by Mobixoft LLC
TourMyDay is built to work on your device. You do not need to give us your name or email: the app gives every install a random account ID, and signing in with Apple or Google is optional. Your trips stay on your phone. This policy explains the little data that does leave it, and why.
What stays on your device
- Trips and preferences. Your saved trips, dates, pace and interests are stored only on your device. Deleting the app, or deleting your account or data in the app, deletes them.
- What you type about your taste. When you describe your trip in your own words, the text is read on your device, by Apple's on-device model where available or by built-in rules. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Reminders. The trial reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device.
What leaves your device
- City downloads. When you download a city, your device requests the files from our servers, hosted by Cloudflare. As with any web request, your IP address and basic request details are processed to deliver the files and protect the service. We do not use them to identify you or build a profile.
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device and app information (such as country, app version and OS version).
- Your setup answers. The answers you give when you first open the app (the city, trip length, pace, interests you picked and which travel problems you selected) are stored with that random ID at RevenueCat, so we can understand which options lead people to subscribe. RevenueCat does not receive your name or email.
- Apple Ads attribution. If you found TourMyDay through an Apple Ads campaign, Apple's AdServices framework provides a token that RevenueCat uses to tell us which campaign led to an install or purchase. This does not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers.
Account and deletion
- What is stored. We use Firebase, a Google service, for accounts. Every install gets a random Firebase user ID, without any sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, Firebase also stores which provider you used and the email address it shares with us (with Apple this can be a private relay address). A small profile record holds when the account was created and last used (createdAt, lastSeen), whether it is a guest account (anonymous), your sign-in providers (providers), the app's language (language) and the app version (appVersion). The same random ID is the app user ID at RevenueCat, which holds your purchase records and the setup answers and Apple Ads attribution described above.
- How to delete it. In the app, open About, then Account, and tap Delete account (Delete my data if you never signed in). Apple and Google accounts are asked to confirm their sign-in first.
- What is deleted, and when. Straight away: your Firebase account and profile record and anything stored under it, and the trips saved on that device. Your purchase record at RevenueCat (purchase history and the setup answers and Apple Ads token described above) stays under the random app user ID, which no longer leads to any account once yours is deleted; email us with that ID, shown in the app under About, if you want it removed too. If you signed in with Apple, the app's access to your Apple ID is revoked; with Google, its access to your Google account is withdrawn. Copies in our providers’ backups expire on their own schedules. If a step fails, the app tells you and nothing is reported as deleted until it is; you can run it again.
- Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in the app's delete dialog (Manage subscription) or in Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Apple keeps its own records of your purchases, as the seller, under Apple's privacy policy; we cannot delete those. You can restore an active subscription later with the same Apple ID.
- Without the app. If you no longer have the app, email mobixoftapps@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, or include your app user ID (shown under About), and we will delete your account and data within 30 days and confirm by email.
What we do not do
- No ads, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- The app does not access your location, contacts or photos.
Third parties
Apple (App Store, payments, on-device models, Sign in with Apple), Google Firebase (accounts, sign-in and the profile record, stored in the United States; Google Sign-In if you use it), RevenueCat (subscriptions) and Cloudflare (hosting city downloads and this website). Each processes data under its own privacy policy. City data comes from OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons and Overture Maps; these are content sources, and no data is sent to them.
Retention and your rights
Subscription records are kept as long as needed to provide your purchases and meet legal obligations. Account data is kept until you delete your account; a guest account that is deleted keeps nothing. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete data about you, or to object to its use. You can delete your data yourself in the app (see Account and deletion). For any other request, email us and include your app user ID, which the app shows under About, or write from the email address you signed in with. Without either we cannot find your records, because we do not know who you are.
Children
TourMyDay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
